I know this is low on the totem pole of priorities, but yesterday I had a coat hanger to do GTAs and today I had to buy a new one. I can't figure out what happened to the old one. It's not in my display, it's not in my possession, and I'm 99.99999% sure I didn't drop or donate it.
I would like to know who the person is who has spent the last month-plus perpetually hospitalizing me anonymously. This person hasn't mugged me, and my faction is currently not at war. I'm not complaining of this, as this is a game where people get attacked and such. I'm only curious as to the cause of the vendetta which has led to this situation.

What do you mean? This does not make sense re: point (b) I made. When there's a stat whore on a mission, the mission always tells you. I don't know if it's the same for other missions under other NPCs, but under Duke, the mission ALWAYS tells you if there's a particular stat you need to overcome. Given that the mission did NOT say this, it's extremely reasonable to suspect that this is NOT the case, hence my skepticism over your quick evaluation.
I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm beating a dead horse but your explanation does not correlate to usual gameplay experience.
You would know, being admin and looking. I'm skeptical of such a "quickie" assessment ONLY because (a) the target isn't an NPC and (b) missions given against deserted characters who are stat whores in one segment or another usually warn you that "hey, this guy is loaded with [fill-in-the-blank-stat], you should watch out or boost or whatever."
There's another attack I tried before then too, didn't think to get that log#, but you can find it under my SN.
ANYWHO, fighting dude for mission. Mission doesn't give particular warnings about any huge stat modifiers. Attack him using all my different weapons. Dude's not wearing any armour that's showing in the attack log. I'm registering hits and crits but 0 damage. Tried it 2x, same result. It's not even saying "hit - 0 damage", just saying "hit" or "crit" in that miss neutral grey colour.
My mission sent me to Mexico. We all know the mission bot usually picks other bots or deserters who haven't been around. I found my guy (by having to search for him, instead of him being on the 24-hr active list), and when I go to attack him, I get a screen saying this:
Colour me stupid. My bad. Didn't realize something I spent 4m replacing only went for $2. lol Thanks for solving the mystery. Total klutz oops on my part and didn't realize that one could sell it to NPC shop. Wasn't paying attn.
