Because Torn is Life
About TornLife
TornLife is an independent record book for Torn: every player's ranks and history, the highscores, the factions, the forum archive and what staff said, kept with the date each thing was observed.
What it is
Torn shows you a player's numbers today. TornLife shows where those numbers rank among every player it has observed, how they changed since January 2026, which records they hold, and what the forums said about them. It is built for players who want the history and the context, not a copy of Torn's own pages.
Who makes it
TornLife is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with Torn Ltd. and speaks for nobody at Torn. It is non-commercial.
Where the numbers come from
- Players, factions and companies: public profile data collected by existing tools, refreshed on a cycle of about five weeks. TornLife adds no new calls to Torn's API.
- Forums: a read-only archive of the public Torn forums from June 2014 onward.
- Torn Wiki: dated public captures (Common Crawl, the Internet Archive), always cited with the capture date.
The sources page explains which source wins when they disagree, and data coverage shows live numbers for what TornLife has and the list of what it does not track.
What TornLife will not do
- Show or estimate anyone's battle stats. They are not public.
- Pretend to be fresher than it is. Every number carries the date it was observed, and profiles can be up to about five weeks behind Torn.
- Call a value a "world record". Records are the highest values TornLife has observed.
- Soften the forums. Posts are shown as they were written; only real-world personal information (emails, phone numbers, addresses, real names) is masked.
