In all honesty, does everyone use the city map for what its intended for, or just for city finds? Me, myself I can't bother looking through each spot on the map trying to find the estate agent, or looking for the points market.
I'm not in a faction right now so I don't know what that adds to the city map at the moment. As of now to me, I find it useless.
mmhmmm if I want to go to the item market I switch to the links option. I don't move through the map for the building, either.

You should join a faction.. it's the best part of this game..
you know, I kind of like using the city map. The ones I frequent most, the gym, the jail and the city dump kind of jump out at me..lol.
The post office is kind of hidden among the shops but I pick it out of the group at least half of the time.
Becoming familiar with the city is just another little fun challenge.
Unless I'm looking for items I use quick links. It'll be interesting when the factions are implemented though.

I use the map to find items and the quick links to go where I need to. I'm certainly guilty here. Faction warring may change that, but I'm expecting the big boys to control the majority of the map and smaller factions to control very tiny slices- thus perhaps not making it too relevant if your not in the top 100 or so factions. I am most likely wrong though.

at the moment i think it just makes it annoying to find items and i use the quick links for the rest .... i use to like wairs waldo books as a kid but searoly who wants to do that if waldo may not even be on the page so kinda annoying to find items now .not a fan of the map although im hopeing the reason he added the map type thing is for other things so ill give it a chance before i decide to dislike this new thing.

That's exactly what I do. I would bet that most are the same way..
I love the concept of the City Map and I'm excited to see how it develops over the next few months!

City map is crap on a phone
I do like the new map. But I don't use it. My internet is often slow, so it doesn't load too quickly as I move around.
I attempt to use the new map when I'm not pressed for time. I actually prefer it to the list view when it comes to the travel agency. It will be interesting to see the new face of warring.
