If your employee is massively under for the marketing manager position, will that actually have a neagtive effect on the company or just 0 positive.

Because of the much higher offered intel gains it could be worth placing a low stat player into this position to help increase them faster correct?

It would be 0 gains.

Only a player with high intel would get the maximum gains offered by the position, so a low stat player would actually progress more slowly.

No they get the gains, they just aren't at full efficiency.

Pretty much you get much reduced gains, (can be 0 if drasticly below) the gains displayed are the maximum for the role.

Someone with non sutible stats will recieve less gains than someone with required.

Keep in mind, when you put someone in that role, they are not in another role that might have been making you money. The marketing manager is not worth it imo.

If your low stat employee is dragging down your high stat players maybe place em as a marketer

Or replace them with someone with the right stats, if your desperate to keep them put them in a position with a low stat requirement and train them until their stats improve.
