Same exact thing happened to me yesterday and my dvd was taken away from items but happy stayed the same.
Right after you took that erotic DVD, did you directly post your bug here?
For me personally i did not post it right away.
I was at work and i used my phone to train and i did not have the time.
It has happened to many people I posted it along time ago I think there is another thread about it

which means you took it before 10:46:38, correct? then its highly likely that you took it right before the happy-regen (which is every 15m on the hour). if your happiness is above the max, it gets reset when the happiness-regen hits
