Just leveled up and noticed i had 8 merits to use. When i went to use them it said 3 had been deducted, unfortunately my computer experienced the blue screen of death and i didnt see why they were deducted. Anyone know why merits are being deducted?

Sometimes lately the system has been handing out more than you have actually unlocked. It will the correct itself and take them back off you - usually telling you what it has done as well. I had it happen to me with 1 merit, never had it with 3 though
Some awards that were received near to the RESPO update were accidentally credited twice due to a bug. The extra merits were deducted automatically by the system.
You have the correct amount of merits now, the three that were deducted were bugged extras.
Because they were given to you in error.
The other day I had only 1 before I hit a networth trigger, so I got 1 for that and one for rank. My total became 5. I knew that was wrong. Later I noticed I was at 3, the correct amount.
Thx for the replies, was bugging me that i didnt get to read it because my computer crashed.
