Is there a max on the amount of skill you can get? And how much does the skill influence your race?
Its awhile when i did some racing, but now wanted to try again.
Atm my drive skill is 6.12

Atm my drive skill is 6.12
it influences a lot. u can beat a class A car with 3-4 skill with your class C with +10 skill. idk how far it goes
In the old forum I saw screen shots of players with like 20.0 skill already like a year ago. I would think 100.0 would be the highest? I think driving skill is harder to get as you progress like hunting skill. I would estimate highest racing skill up around 40.0. I think skill matters in racing like high stats matter during battle but I think the car(s) you choose and upgrades you get for each individual track is important part of if you win or not.
i think it matters because you can have your car upgraded fully and still not win a race.
You have you're car upgraded fully to what you think the best upgrades may be. There are thousands of racers of all different skill lvl's.
You're A class car being fully upgraded is merely a faction of factors determined in a win.
My driver skill is 8.21

At my skill lvl, I need 30-40 races mix of custom 100 lap and official before I see a 0.1 increase

4.56 and yes mine has gone up since the update was at 4.5

seems to be changed after this update, I tried 100 laps race as before but winning 2nd only got .01 skill point

After a certain point, that's what it was like even under the old system.
My driver skill has increased since update, but seems to have maxed out at 10. Belay that, just went to 10.01
Mine DS is around 9, and honestly I feel it has risen faster due to the update. DS does seem to effect a lot because I have beaten fully upgradedNSX's with my Aston Martin when the track obviously favored the NSX though but he had a much lower DS.
my 18.2 and 500 wins i have all max out cars
good tip is to save 30points just if u hit the wall and cant have a max car to winpoint back
