guys im on fibre broadband and my openreach box has a solid dsl link but my router has a flashing ADSL light, therefore, no internet! ive reset everything and even tried a different router
Had absolutely no luck ringing up my ISP as they're useless
Anything I can do as its been like this for a few days and is becoming frustrating

This system seems to have an identity crisis. It is fiber but ADSL?

Unplug all of the wires and plug them back in one at a time.

Then try manually refreshing your ip address.

go into the command prompt (start bar, run, cmd) and type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew

Is it BT Infinity? That is VDSL.

Refreshing local IP / DNS on a connected client will have no effect if the router has no / limited connectivity on its WAN.

BT router has built in diagnostics to check the issue if you open its IP in the browser.

Thread is quite old so assume fixed by now...?
