I can only join custom races with Class A or Class E cars. Also tried to start my own Class B race and got this, "Other racing class required to join this race"

Rich can you please provide screen shots of you setting a custom race and a screen shot of you trying to join an official race with your class B car.
I can start a custom race with my Class B mustang and I can also join an official race with any class car.

It's working for me also. Actually, this error is not related to selected car. There is an option to set required racing class, for example only B class cars AND players racing classB. Most likely that race was only for definded racing class.
