Does an item with red stats reduce that stat by a small amount? It might seem like it has an obvious answer, but to me it's not.
Take for instance the Combat Gloves (or any other "Combat" piece). Decent amount of Defense, but the damage stat has a small red tick. Does this mean that it lowers your overall damage, or that it gives you an extremely small damage boost (in unarmed combat for example)?
If it does reduce your stat, why wouldn't it affect speed or dex instead?
