    I need to confirm if it's just your browser, to make sure it's a client issue. Can you try any other browser please to see if you get the error?

1. Cookies or lackthereof. Torn never asks me if I want to login automatically. It saves my name and pass but logs me out of Torn every single time I close the window. If I click a torn link I cannot view it - it directs me to log in, and then doesn't forward me to the link, so if I want to view say someones battle link, I have to open torn, log-in, minimise that window and click the link to be able to view it. I have Torn CityWatch running which auto-logs-me-in if I click "Play" but no other ways work. I deleted the cookie in Firefox to see if it added another one and it doesn't. I am less than 60 days old and I have just under 600 log-ins, about 575 of which are from the same computer/ip address. Majorly annoying!



2. City watch - I have the popups set to the standard 5 seconds, however some of them, such as when people attack me, they never close. So if I am watching a movie, that will pop up and stay there until I pause it to click X (most of the time I miss the actual X and it loads Firefox (and most of the time asks me to login (see above) making the actual pop up useless). So mostly I have CW completely disabled as it does not func correctly. W764Ultimate.

This is almost certainly going to be a client side issue. Could you try using chrome and see if it still happens?

I could but I would rather not in all honesty - I use chrome for FB Ads Manager and Power Editor - would rather keep it exclusive to business use?

If it is client side, shouldn't there be a "log me in automatically" tick box somewhere?

Ok, I just tried Chrome - it gives the option to save password but no option to "remember me" so as soon as I close the Chrome window and open a new one I am logged out again.



Same in IE also (by typing the torn url into windows explorer)

Have you changed the cookie settings at all? If you're using the browser normally, you will not ever be logged out. Users remain logged in until they manually log out.

Nope: Chrome is a standard install (like I said I just use it for business so no need for any plugins or anything) and Torn does not work properly on that, and I never use IE and it doesn't work there either. I didn't import any settings from FF when I installed it either.

You will note that the cookie for FB POWER EDITOR works but the cookie for Torn does not...like I said before, default installation of Chrome...

As for the City Watch thing, that happens to me also. It will stay up for 5 seconds, assuming I'm active on the computer, but if I'm not it just stays there until I move the mouse. Really annoying when watching a movie or something. I rarely use it anymore because of that.

Hi J_OF_ANARCHY

I can't replicate the CityWatch issue. All CW events popup and close down in 5 seconds for me. I am on same environment as you (Firefox 33.1 - Windows 7 x64 Ultimate - X86). Even installed Ad-blocker (with Torn exceptions to check).

I just can't replicate.

Can you try disabling all FF extensions please, and let me know?

I can try and see, but note it does it even without FF running, for example watching something on Media Player Classic in full screen it will pop up and just stay there. Can't get a video of that working for obvious reasons...

Firefox is more of the issue with it logging me out, which it is still doing...
