does anyone have a clue how dex works in attacking 2.0? Is it in any way similar to the defence formula?

I find that my Dex doesn't do very much anymore at all, the Speed seems to determine the winner primarily. - Marky [352379]

Def got buffed too I think. - Marky [352379]

You need to have at least a decently higher amount of speed than your opponent in order to run away from them successfully.

I only ask because a lot of people has complained that defense has been nerfed, and I wondered if dex might follow the same formula? Somehow its seems only fair that the stats are paired up strength versus defense and dex versus speed and that the factor between the paired stats should be the same.
but is this the case?
For now defense is useless train your dex up and join the army to save points then when they fix it spend all your thousands of points on defense :)
Dex doesn't make you invincible either.
It's hard to say how dex has been affected, with the reduced impact of strength on life, attacks now last more rounds giving players more of a chance to hit back. When you used to 1 hit someone every time, they now have more opportunity to hit you back.
It would be nice if chedburn released his "formula" for all the attacking stats. If he wants to represent everyone in torn, he should allow us to see what he did and take opinions.
It seems to me that he has evened out the playing field, but mostly to the benefit of new players. Older players with decent stats will not be able to hold on to the stat advantage due to the way the formula is. At least in regards to the defence/strength formula.
it would indeed be nice if they released all the formulas.

Yes, it just makes your spider sense more active.

I think it helps if you attempt to run from an enemy.
