Why doesn't the race start after it has a full entry? I understand an hour countdown in case it doesnt fill up but it seems a bit pointless to have the race counter continue after all the slots are taken.

Why doesn't the race start after it has a full entry? I understand an hour countdown in case it doesnt fill up but it seems a bit pointless to have the race counter continue after all the slots are taken.
I reckon so that you can't get a bunch of mates together and do hundrety billiony races in a short period of time and gain an advantage (racing skill and upgrade point thingies) over others. Torn is a game of patience and it's lasted 10 years for a reason.
