Would be cool if we had a little scrolling chat in racing, similar to poker; and of coarse it wouldn't be used for trash talk

Add ability to bet other racers you are currently racing against.

I didn't want to start two threads so just put both ideas up for criticism.

Trash talking would be a bit of fun but the betting thing would be pointless as you don't really have any control over the outcome of the race whatsoever (how you perform from race to race is pretty much random to a large degree against a given set of opposition racers that have similar skill levels), assuming that you're on a track with other racers that have entered cars which are also suitable for that track.

If you want to bet on something with random outcomes then you might as well go play slots or buy a lotto ticket.
