When does abroad restock?

Just got to UAE and cheapest item is $8bill...how do i find out when it restocks plushie/flowers/xan?

Edit: To answer your question - items restock a specified amount of time after stock has run out which is nominally 50% of the time the previous batch took to sell out after restocking, however having said that most of the time there is a maximum restock time which can generally be relied upon as that 50% figure mentioned above tends to be longer than the maximum.

For flowers it is roughly 6 full hours (ie. starting from the beginning of the hour after stock has sold out), not sure what it is for plushies or other items but at least some of them do have such a maximum restock time (if not all).

Its random.

Technically speaking Styx is right as well - the restocking can happen at any hour of the day, depending on when the previous batch ran out of stock, so even though the restocking does follow a set algorithm the end result is that there's no "fixed" time during the day when restocking happens (which I think is what the OP was asking) and thus you could call it "random" for all intents and purposes.

Semantics. I agree it's not entirely random, however for practical purposes it might as well be, since the time it's based on is totally random.

Should you stick around and wait? No, you end up wasting energy, trips towards the merit, risk getting hosped abroad, missing out on other things in torn, etc with no idea what will restock next and when..mug who you can then cut your losses and travel home.

Like I said I think the OP was asking if the restock happens at a specific time during the day (eg. 12 am, 6am, midday, etc) and the answer to that is clearly no, as restock times *are* largely random based on when stock last ran out for the item (which is in turn dictated by an unpredictable pattern of behaviour across a not insignificant number of players) - the 6 hour offset for flowers (for example) is irrelevant here when it comes to the question of randomness, as it is not the primary trigger for a restock.

If the question was "how long until the next restock" for the next batch of a specific item then that is a quantifiable non-random measure, as it would be based on a fixed point in time (ie. the time that stock for the previous batch ran out).

I generally use 6 hours as my restock rule of thumb when looking at the Travel run charts

It's semi random because it is based on a set algorithm so it isn't truly random at all
