personal note for visitors

hey ,

so i had this thing that i would like your opinion about it and i don't know if it had been suggested before or not but :

a section in profile page , where the person can have somewhat of a note for those who visit his/her profile page...

it can be on his/hers status section or personal information , or even have a different section

Why would we need a tiny space to write things when we have a huge section to write things?

Because some people have profile sigs turned off?
Maybe it could be a quick way to distinguish yourself from everyone else even for people who turn the sigs off... R+
And it's quicker to add a sentence or two than to make a profile pic

If someone turns off profile sigs why would they want to see another box that can't be hidden?

They might have turned off profile sigs because the images/videos take up mobile data, but it'd still be nice to be able to see something that distinguishes someone from the next person

The only real purpose of the box is to put "Don't mug me" in it, nobody wants to see that

secondly:
it could be useful to some people , to be known..

examples :

lets say someone is trying to get the Wholesaler merit , he/she can put their time plan for 1$ sale of their bazaar up for those who visit their page...

another reason can be for those who are wiling 2 share stuff (or revives , etc) for free for some merits and other purposes...

it can be used to notify close friends of wot your plans are for upcoming events....

it can be used in many ways if you think about it...



and on top of that it would be something like a Facebook wall , tweeter , etc

and since number of users of such sites shows us that such idea haven't failed , Y shouldn't we benefit from it?





P.s : forgive me if my English wasn't good enough to explain the above matter , after all , English is my second language..

There's no real point in putting don't mug me there, people just ignore that and mug you anyway.

It could be called 'Personal motto' or something and go under the personal information as an optional thing to add to your profile.
Then it'd look silly if you just put 'Don't mug me'

Why not just use the already editable section on the profile?

if they don't want to see your profile sig, they don't want to see your note either. No need to push unnecessary shit on others. If you want a note, put it at the topmost part of your signature. R-

But people probably turn off profile signatures because they just don't like all the gifs taking ages to load, but one extra sentence wouldn't really be so obtrusive.
I think it'd be nice to have that as an addition/alternative to putting your name etc. for people who like putting that kind of thing on their profile. Yeah people will use it for advertising but, you could technically put that under 'Real name' etc. now if you really wanted to

i mean , it wasn't that obvious in the first place this signature thing , heck i've been in torn for over 5 month now , and i didn't even knew it was there , and belieeeeeeve me , i've been busy gathering intel about torn since day 1...
