Karma is the thumbs up and down icons on forums, you annoy a lot of people you will get thumbs down which takes away from your karma, get a thumbs up gives a positive result for karma, its more of a gauge how the community see your actions in forums, be a twat and expect down rates = less karma and may make an individual change their actions, more of a player behavior thing i see with karma, other then that it does nothing as far as im aware.
