ive been stuck as novice since i was 7 days old (im now 40 something), like how do i rank up, ve hospitalized, mugged, traded, had an OD, what do i do???

Ranking is based on triggers. You need to reach specific set milestones, when you hit one you'll rank up.
These are:
Level: 2, 6, 11, 26, 31, 50, 71 and 100
Total crimes of: 100, 5000, 10000, 20000, 30000 and 50000
And total networth of: 2k, 50k, 3m, 10m, 20m, 50m, 200m, 1b, 2.5b and 5b
Networth is defined as the total money made from crimes and by selling items back to the system itself, not to other players.
