You can't just extend the poll like that, that makes the results misleading and an unnecessary double thread... if you're going to correct it, you could ask staff to grave the original thread and make a new one like:
How many friends do you have?

30-39
40-49
50-59
60-69
70-79
80-89
90-99
100-109
etc....
140-149
150+

Also, just because something's "normal for you" doesn't mean you should keep on doing it just because "it's a habit" even though it's not correct- that's not a good justification for anything in life... :P
