Is it possible to send more than one item at a time, and if so, how is it done. I tried to send a few beers to a friend and discovered I only sent one.

Send 'em in a parcel, send 'em in a trade.

Click to use an empty box and you can put up to 10 items inside it then package it to make a parcel. From the city click on post office and you can send your parcel
If you want to do more than 10 then setup a trade with the person. They don't have to add anything to their side for it to go through.
Yeah, just accept the trade and wait for them to receive it if you're sending that much.
Sending multiple items will result in pages of event text ;)
