I apologize if this has been previously answered but i'm trying to do some research and couldn't find a specific answer to my question. If there is a direct correlation between the level of player you hosp and the the amount of respect earned, is there a formula that explains the gain? ie: hosp a noob vs hosp a higher level player, is there a specific formula to determine the gain difference? I hope I asked in such a way that is easily understood. Thanks in advance for your responses <3

personally i never noticed a difference, if there is one , its very small. also it´ll be hard to proof cause youll gain more respect as the chain gets longer
Dont have the exact figures but rule of thumb: hit between 10 lvls of your own you get a certain amount of respect (depending on the hight of the chain). Hit way below your own lvl, get a reduction in respect. Hit way above your level get an increase in respect.

for me, hosping a level 1 in my warbase might get 1 or 2 respect at best on a chain, but a high level, even at the start of a chain would be closer to 4, at higher points I could be looking at gains closer to 10 per hit.
hosping gives 1 respect under chain 10 count, it increases over chain 10 - 25 etc etc . this amount also increases if the target is a higher level, is active etc. It also depends on the number of times you have hit him.
it is entirely possible to hit a target for 13 - 15 respect in a single hit
since the last series of updates , you also earn more exp when hosping during warring.
