I posted my thoughts in Cesium's thread in Company Discussion and a few liked 'my' idea so here's the suggestion.

Job training needs to get a 180 degree turn around. The days of having a job and doing literally nothing but logging in to train, chain, mug and thug, and trade need to end.

Employees should have a clickable duty to perform to receive work stat increases.
---stats could be watered down a bit to match what weekly/bi-weekly Director trains yield
---stats could still scale up in higher star companies, much like heavier gyms
---directors could opt to open training for the 3rd stat if they are already capped

Apologies if this is someone else's idea, didn't see it in the first 4 pages of suggestions.
---for all you people with low IDs if you cap your stats for that job, then your training could go autopilot

Rate as you see fit...

Edit: And if we wanted to be real hard a$$es the completion of assigned duties to receive stats, would trigger paychecks

While it would be interesting, overall having this as forced might be a bad idea.

I am unsure so with-holding my vote.

I for one would do all I can to help my company, but some people don't have all the time in the world.

Agreed. This started from an internal personal rant I was on as a noob director.

Assuredly, I wasn't naive to the revolving door of inactive hires, but it's still frustrating.

R+ Should be possible to train oneself every day, one time a day to not require too much attention. The part about not getting paid for not training would just ruin the company profit though, as them being counted "inactive" would mean they had no productivity. Some users even have over 350k stats, and requiring them to train would be unfair (seeing as they worked to get there).

All the time the 'employee' needs is to log in once a day, click a link on their company page. Might add 30-45 seconds to their Torn log in time...Missing what the problem is. I agree it would require some education and communication to employees by the Director.
