I was wondering about a class action lawsuit against Torn for arbitrary abuse of power to exercise oppressive control over players, arbitrary interpretation of rules, "fraternization with players" in a manner which oppresses players, and gives unfair advantage to "special" players, and the suppression of the First Amendment. ha ha. I got jokes. Anyone with as much as a history in legal research knows that it would take dozens of players, all recording screen shots of questionable staff activities to launch a legitimate case against Torn. And of course I'd have to sue Torn as an entity as well as those staff who had direct involvement in the questionable activity. The biggest issue would be that Torn is not a U.S. based company and is probably not under the strict regulation of the laws which I know and understand.
In the U.S. the Jury decides if the law was broken, the Jury decides, even if the law was broken, if the defendant is actually guilty or if intent was not present and qualifies as accidental abuse of power resulting from ignorance of law or ethical principles.
I don't have the energy to do that. Torn will probably not be around long enough to see a final resolution. And, ultimately, it really just doesn't matter.
At the rate at which this world is going to cow-dung in a hand-basket, we might all be dead in six months.
...this post will probably not help anything...
You are definitely on crack.
Don't burn the bridge you're standing on. Silly! :)
