I want to know, too. :)
Honda Accord and Toyota MR2 are two of the popular cars for D class. I personally believe that you can do well with pretty much any car.
My best advice would be to save your racing points. Don't spend them all right away, horde them.
Every time you move up a level, you want some points in-hand to upgrade your first car in the new class. When you first move to A class, you want to have enough points to immediately do all upgrades (with the exception of safety upgrades which are not important.)
Thanks! I am hoarding the points, for sure. I stripped my class E car for weight, and that's all I plan to do to my D car, too.
if you just strip your car you wont place in many races just saying so far that is what i am getting
The general rule of thumb I use is use the points you gained in previous class to upgrade next class. As you go up in ranks you need to upgrade to compete.
I had mediocre success in class d but in class c I had a 50% win total.
