Gender does not play a role in jobs or companies so yes you can hire both male and female employees!

it does affect the company income. Only female strippers have 5 stars. Male strippers have 1 star effectiveness and do not increase the company daily income.
Put two players of equal work stats, activity and level of addiction into the same position then come back to me. It doesn't effect anything whether they're male or female.
