So property owned and lived in by spouse, not me and I don't own it, but it's charging me upkeep.
I looked through forum first before posting.
My understanding is if I owned the property, or lived in it, i'd be charged. My only relation to this property is that i'm married to the person occupying it.
I paid the upkeep just to clear it, but it did indicate it was having a negative impact on my happy.

I don't really understand what you are trying to say. From the new update either you or partner can pay the upkeep of a property, the upkeep can be viewed by both you and partner, It just looks like your partner can't be asked to pay it.
I don't see how a property that you don't leave in, will affect your happy, since you aren't actually in that property unless you moved in.
are you sure you are paying your spouses upkeep and not just your own?
The notice said it was affecting my happy and the upkeep logo was flashing red.
I don't inunderstand it either... Hence the bug report.

The upkeep is charged to the property, not the users. We give you the option to pay for it on behalf of your spouse, but you certainly don't have to. Your happiness is unaffected unless you are living in that property.
As long as you see the upkeep due on a 'Per property' basis and not 'Per user', it makes sense.
Yes, my wifey is inactive and holds our co-owned property, so I was very glad to see the option for me to pay the upkeep.

It appeared that while my spouse and i were living in separate properties, when they failed to pay the upkeep on the property they owned and were living in, the upkeep indicator was flashing and a negative happiness result (-18% if I remember right) was indicated, which disssapeared when I paid it.
So, he'd been afk for a while, in a mansion, which he owned and staffed, which had overdue upkeep. In the communal property window, it showed his mansion's upkeep flashing and with a negative happiness impact indicated. If it's not a bug then it's probably just misleading (i don't know what his happiness is at any given moment, why would i know if it's being adversly impacted by his property issues if i have no idea it's beeing affected by OD's, cool down, etc etc).

It would have said that the properties happiness reduction was -18%, on the property profile page. Are you saying that you thought this indicator meant your current personal happiness?
Honestly yes. All it said was something to the effect of "Happiness Reduced -18%" or some such.

I'm also having a problem with this. I don't know whether this is a bug or new features but I've noticed that yesterday I have to pay an upkeep for 4 mill and I've settled it all completely and it shows 0 upkeep for my PI. Suddenly today, I saw that I need to pay twice the amount for my upkeep. I thought this is new amount for PI upkeep but I've noticed that it still 300k++ daily. Can you please check on this.
