Yes I've made a game for Android. Not fun at all having to do all these tedious micro-optimisations to improve a few FPS, from pre-loading all game objects into mem, preventing the stupid garbage collector from removing inactive objects in memory when it causes a CPU spike to load it back in, hiding objects when out of scope in all axis, not using high-res textures everywhere and making comprises for a few FPS. Not fun, time consuming. I don't recommend making games for mobile devices.
