Wondering if Torn will be offering some place for us to put completed projects for the community to browse? Or, maybe this forum is it...?
My thought is something in the city, maybe a "Friends Helping Friends" building, where we can specify an image, tags, and short description of what we've built. Image hosting and any hosting for downloads, etc. would all be on our own, of course.
This would allow players to browse things that have been built and up or down vote them, etc.
Entries would need to remain editable by the poster so, as apps/scripts get updated then the posting can also get updated.
This would be a good place for Torn to post a warning about sharing your API key, allowing AA faction permissions, etc. as well.
Torn may, or may not, take the time to give the program a quick 2 minutes test run to see if it's allowed to be posted.
And wouldn't it just be great if there were some sort of merit for submitting a tool that uses the API...? Or for having a tool used by 100 players, 500 players...? hehehe
