I do not think you fully understand Christmas Town, read the guides maybe?????
There are objectives and we can get items and chest to crack .......
it is also a bit of extra fun - try playing using some grey matter and have a proper go at it

After that, it's pretty much scavenger hunts, chest cracking, and lots of free stuff
