I never knew this was a problem
Little kids are injury magnets I swear. Only takes seconds for them to eat small parts and choke, climb off a loft, fall down stairs, choke on strings, roll window up on themselves, stick finger in socket, fall into mop bucket, drink a chemical, fall and hit their head, get too close to a family pet, etc.
Playpen is the best invention ever.
Was always a big thing here in Ireland, also the UK...I remember seeing safety adverts on the TV about it

They dont sell this style anymore in the UK, they havnt sold them for years!
We have twiddly sticks here instead of cords.
