Selling Items

How do you sell items in the Item Market.

Go to the market page in the city and at the top right hand corner click the "Ad Listing" button. You may need to be level 5 before you can start selling stuff though, but I am not entirely sure on that.

There are many ways to sell items for higher profits in the game, the best being direct (Trade no % fee), your own Bazaar ( no % fee), auctions, and for a fee the City Items. Enjoy the game

There are two ways to sell things in the Items Market. Most first-time sellers will add a listing as Philistine mentions above. You will be charged a small fee for each item you list. Once the item is listed, you cannot remove it or change the price unless you buy it yourself and relist it (paying a fee a second time).

Owning your own bazaar is a much nicer way to sell, but it requires you to spend 250 points on a bazaar (a one-time purchase). You do not have to pay any fees when you list an item with a bazaar. If you sell with a bazaar, you can add as many of one item as you want (for many types of items, but not all types) at once with a single price. You can remove items from your bazaar and change the price whenever you want. You can also close your bazaar whenever you want. So if you're going to be offline and you're worried your items will sell and someone will mug you, you can close your bazaar until you are online again.

However, do not be discouraged from selling just because you cannot afford a bazaar right away. You can still sell by listing individual items. I suggest listing them slightly cheaper than the bazaar prices because most buyers prefer to buy in quantity from a bazaar rather than clicking on each item that's individually listed.

I suggest selling inexpensive items until you level up. That way, you are less likely to get mugged by the buyer. Good items to buy and resell in the beginning are the plushies in bits n bobs (kittens, sheep and teddys), candy from the candy shop and pepper spray (from Al's Weapons). You can mark these items up because each player can only buy 100 items per day, and if they want more than that, they have to buy from the Item Market where the prices are higher.

Quick question, how do you sell items through bazaar?

Go to your profile, click the bazaar icon. It looks like a briefcase. (Assuming you have a bazaar, I'm travelling so I can't check. If you don't, you can buy one for 250 points from the points building)

From your bazaar page, there's a menu with an arrow on the top right, click it and select 'Add items' from the drop down menu.

After that, it's just like adding stuff to the item market. Go to the items you want to sell, put in the quantity and the price, then add it.
