Hank has a nice script you can load ("Hank's Ratio") that will show you on your gym view how much you need to go up in which stats to get into a special gym. you pick your primary stat and two secondary stats. It takes all the math out of it for you, very easy to use.

It's in Hank's Training Guide for Druggies, under the section "Hank's Ratio for Ultimate Stat Gains". This is the link to his guide:

That's not entirely true, ofcourse there have been cases who were able to use 150 combined. But there's also been cases of people who had 101 in total and weren't able to access the SSL anymore.
