Whats up guys.
I want to know how many of you guys believe in superstition.
I am a huge believer of any type of superstition.
Recently, something very superstitious happened to my girlfriend and I.
We had had a house fire on Friday the 13th.. Everything that day was going great for me. I heard I was going to get a promotion very soon and got extremely excited. Normally, I work 7-3PM, but it was Friday and I took 15 mins. off my lunch and chose to leave at 2:45. Right after I had left, a phone call went into my work from my girlfriend telling my boss that we had a fire and she needed me home asap.
On that day, Friday the 13th, I had actually driven through the 666th hour of my forklift. Normally, I never use my seatbelt on that specific lift, but being the 666th hour, I chose to wear my seatbelt that day and drive even more cautiously.
I felt the urge to share this because it has bothered me and might possibly be a message from the big guy above, or the dickhead below. Let me know what you think of this..

i AM a little superstitious. i think you mean if I believe in the paranormal, and i do. i've read and seen unexplained stories and clips about ghosts, aliens, creatures, etc. and they seem too real to be fake (and they were unexplained after all.) it doesn't hurt to throw a little salt behind you or hold a rabbit's foot/horseshoe every now and then. Because we can not really explain the paranormal, we cannot also prove that it does/doesn't exist. If it does, then all the good luck things i've did MAY help. if not, then no harm in me doing all those things, not like i will live 5 years shorter for avioding walking under a ladder. this is my step brother's personal account of a paranormal happening:

superstition is like religion, it works for or against you based on the amount of irrational belief you put into it.
superstitions very affected by culture.... or religion i think. because we malays in Malaysia back then before embrace Islam believe in spirits (semangat in Malay) or hantu (ghost) . after Islam some of us still believe that but because of our religion all paranormal that occurs because of Jinn (genie, other dimension being, In Quran said that Satan, Devil is from Jinn race)
I doubtly these paranormal things can happen but it happen once in my high school life. Got into boarding school, went from hostel to preparation class at night with my friend. so a bit dark with some dim lamp lights.... suddenly we noticed a tall shadow with two horn, walking. it should be some source object for shadow to be formed but none at that time. we ran quickly to our class :D
