I'm having a problem with my windows 7 system restore when i try to run a restoration.

The error says:
System restore did not complete successfully. Your computer's system file and settings were not changed.
Details: System restore failed to extract the file (C:) from the restore point. An unspecified error occured during system restore. (0x8000ffff)

I'm not good with computers so I really need some help here.

Your System Restore failed thats what i can say from the error if you like you can try it again Backup all your important stuff in External Hard Disk and start the Backup Process if it fails you can do a clean install of Windows 7 or Format your Internal Hard disk
