Hey Guys and Girls,

Just a small question about companies. I see that quite a lot of companies spend a lot more money on wages than what they actually earn per day. Surely this isn't beneficial for the person who owns the company? There are a few i've seen (mainly high star poor companies like candle and high star expensive ones like oil rig) which do earn more than what they spend on wages, but for the companies inbetween it seems like the director is at a loss.

Do many/some of these companies pay their staff with the stars they earn? Or just small wages? Just the ads I see on the newspaper are like 400k to work in a male strip club which baffles me to how its worth the director starting one of these companies instead of just joining one!

Thanks in advance for answers

most people lose money owning a poorer company. it's mostly just for using it as a bank while they like the specials so they run it overpaying people to rank it.

for most of torn it's better to just join a company.

Also many of the people you see taking losses now are hoping to get their company to 10 stars, where it often becomes profitable or can be sold for an amount that covers the losses until then and leaves some profit too. Not impossible... but depending on the company type and many other factors, in some cases it takes a very long time. During which, it is a long struggle to find and keep good employees. Hence mug's advice posted above.
