My first greasemonkey / tampermonkey script for torn.com :)

I would suggest the devs to put such an option in game preferences and make it server side to avoid a page refresh as in the case with this JavaScript way.

seems great BUT I would still Not use https on torn because it automatically makes any link we paste in the chat https soo... yeah

Its actually making the links protocol independent.. It just removes the http: or https: from the links..

e.g. //example.com/abc.html .. That makes browsers use the protocol of page on which the link was added.. Its actually a bad behavior and should be fixed by Torn :P

Secure and I found some scripts aren't working while Torn is opened through HTTPS. One I found was the Item market and Travel link for your menu. These don't appear while Torn is opened in HTTPS.

Or maybe I was flying high.

HTTPS prevents anyone else (Government/Internet Service Provider) between you and the torn server from intercepting your page visits.

It also prevents someone else (Friend/Sibling/etc) on your home/office/school network from sniffing your passwords or even knowing which page you are visiting (The IP you are connecting to will be visible though, so this might not help you play Torn on school/office network without getting caught).
