Hi just wondering why when traveling. Why we have to travel back home? Why can't you pick the destination to fly to from where you current position is?

Hi just wondering why when traveling. Why we have to travel back home? Why can't you pick the destination to fly to from where you current position is?
Torn has a complicated visa system, due to the criminal nature of every one of it's citizens it cannot allow people free world travel. Consider it like a "day release", you gotta come back to get your papers verified and your ankle tag analysed between each destination.
The same applies to Torn time travel I'm afraid.

I respect the answer but I Personally feel Criminals would take all risk and do as they want and desire to, That's the risk and privileged of being a criminal. If you own a jet who are you expected to answer to? Fraud paper work comes to mind for the authorities and but owning a private jet should mean your free to land any where you like in torn, when you do want to travel on torn. The jet ain't cheap or is the private island.
It's been suggested before.... in the suggestions forum.
The problem is the US military. Given Torn's rather checkered past the United States felt the need to restrict all air routes other than those that are specially sanctioned by the UN security panel.
If we were to fly on any route other than those allowed by our complicated visa system the planes would be shot down immediately. No pilot in Torn is willing to take the risk, no matter how much we pay them. Given the populaces fondness for drugs and alcohol I think it's unlikely that any player will ever manage to pilot their own plane, so we can only land in destinations that our pilots are feel comfortable with.
Nah, we need to travel with submarines then.
one of the biggest counters is just that flying from country to country is pretty pointless as you wouldn't have anywhere to put your items. what use is jumping from place to place?
You can always use a postal service to ship these items back to your home while you continue to travel and shop, I guess...
You could get round that by storing the items in your huge ass jet, but nothing on the Internet is logical, Wikipedia said so.

Paying a lot of money for an airstrip and private plane, and it looks like a Cessna from the 70's.
have you ever paid international shipping? it's expensive! plus, you know, if you're doing that, why not just be able to shop online? it completely ruins the feature.
and as far as storing them on your plane goes, you only have room for ten items on their. hence the reason it only adds ten items to the number you can move.
