Torn Marriage

I have never really understood the concept of marriage in torn. Do you get any sort of benefits from it, or any other perks?

You get merits for being married and merits can be used in many different ways.

Can share the cost of upkeep.

Noobs can marry high level players to gain access to Properties with big Happy which they wouldn't be able to afford on their own.

Sharing properties, Sharing vault, Sharing property perks (2% gym gains, faster flying), Merits.

Those are the three main ones.

I mean, you also get the perk of paying half the upkeep (tho this rarely does happen) and oh... not so important but you get to be married to that person? na not so much a perk.

merits. merits are always good. also sharing property costs is a expense not to be underestimated in a never ending game.
if you are paying the upkeep all by yourself for months/years thats a big chunk of play money gone over time. this game is all about thinking long term and doing anything you can to get a little edge on other players.
