That's fine for your peasant gear, but what about the kind of stuff that we spent 10s of billions on? We buy that kind of end game weaponry to use it, not to just let it gather dust.

Only peasants worry about a few billions lost on wear and tear....[]
This would heavily limit what weapons some people could potentially get, as well as likely have glitches with modifiers where people have them disappear on them...but at the same token, it would also make it so someone wouldn't just get the most expensive weapon they see when they got the cash because they know it can just fall apart, so it might be interesting to see put into play...but then people would be concerned about the weapons durability...yeah, not sure how this would honestly fit, or if it would fit well.
Isn't this like the 4th time this EXACT suggestion has popped up?
If we ever implemented this, the cost of weapons would have to drop dramatically, especially among the high end, to prevent them becoming novelty.
And weapon stats would have to be thrown out the window otherwise it would be unfair.
but i use "Pete's Super A-Grade+ Gun Oil" on my ArmaLite Rifle, don't tell me i was conned......
