Any chance I can have the clock set to my time zone. I'm over trying to work out the time somthing happened.

And day light savings just makes it worse.

It's kind of a traditional Torn thing. Just use the clock on your computer to tell the actual time in your area.

Torn runs on universal time and doesn't change with daylight savings so the time difference is hardly going to vary, why should torn go off of the main baseline time to suite ur wants

so you wanna destroy all the system of termed wars and planned chainning and many other things to suit your small problem...............................

I guess hes not on about the torn clock, hes on about when an event happened? as these are specific and only visible to each person I don't see why these cant be local time?
gra [672042]

that's not true, by default time is local, torn uses UTC which is standard to everyone meaning the local conversion is easier.

each individual date can be formatted to local time while others can be left as UTC.if your interested in coding (c#) check out following stack overflow link: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/179940/convert-utc-gmt-time-to-local-time

while it is easy to do the math as sweeney states its not as stupid a suggestion as was originally assumed :)
