A kimpossible task?

So I've just got the mission a kimpossible task, defeated someone without using a gun like the title said, but it says i haven't completed it properly...

I've had a beef with the Korean guy down the street Mr Kim for too long now. All I asked is that he stops emptying his grease barrels down the alleyway because it keeps running straight into the back-yard of my place, but he won't listen. I got a business to protect here, and ain't nobody want to borrow money off a guy whose place smells like fried beancurd.

Me and Mr Kim have agreed to solve our differences like men, by having two other people fight it out for us. AvianPattern is Kim's guy, and you're mine. We've only got one rule, no guns. Use whatever you want to beat that mook except nothin' that shoots, not even a pee shooter okay? By the way did you ever get those to work as a kid? Like, which end does your pee even go in?

So in the log it shows all I've used is my plastic sword, a brick and kicked her a few times, but it hasn't registered I've completed the contract... What have i done wrong?

Ive just attacked her and only used a brick and completed the mission... bit of a waste of 25 E, but maybe the mission should be made clearer?

Yes I accepted first before I attacked. I've completed the mission now and I'm traveling so I can't see, but it was something along the lines of 'deafeat the target using only Meele weapons and temporary weapons'

So whereas the specific instruction doesn't state to use fists / kick, the general description I cut and pasted above just says not to use guns etc. Like duke said, 'nothing that shoots' so a plastic sword, a brick and my boots should fall in that category... right?

Did the actual mission directive say to use just fists or kicks?

Not what Duke says, but the actual mission step.

It said 'Meele weapons and temporary' so you'd think that would include fists and kicks too, surely?

I think those count as unarmed attacks?

Most people dont read all that crap Duke writes, only the specifics once accepted.

if you look up melee weapons in this game Fists doesnt appear. Its not ridiculous if you check the weapon types etc in the wiki before you attack

It doesn't seem ridiculous to me, that a hand isn't considered a melee weapon.

A hand is what holds a melee weapon.
