Hi, after the reset some of the core areas are already assigned and the respect spent (Temporary, Medical, Armor and Weapon Armory) for a total of 7546 respect.
I thought the faction had to buy again everything from scratch.
Is it a bug, a choice or is it possible to have those areas locked and choose what to buy again (if anything)?

Some stuff would be assigned by default I would expect, as every faction would use them.

You received those upgrades (and respect) free of charge because you'd already bought them in the previous system.

Ohhh so we got extra total respect, but the same amount of spendable respect we already had/spent. Ok. For a minute it looked like we'd lost respect to upgrades we no longer wanted, but it actually gives us a nice total number. Cool. Thanks.
Okay just to be clear... we might have earned x amount respect in the years we've been a faction. However, now that all upgrades are being handled with respect, you have converted all the upgrades we previously had to the amount of respect it would have cost us if we did it with the tree version?
So I can consider it,
Current respect + respect spent on all previously held specials + respect converted from all previously bought upgrades = total respect. Then you set our core up to mirror what it was prior to the change and deducted the respect that would cost?
Yes. Except the previous "core" had cash value, not respect value. So instead of giving us cash for what we spent, he took what it costs now in respect and added that to our total respect.
That would be the "respect converted from all previously bought upgrades."
