That's how a national health service should work. Things that cause you harm are taxed heavily and then the services required because you used those things are funded by the tax. Makes perfect sense to me.

did you know that the beer store is owned by foreign multinationals ? it is not owned by the government. and the store itself is a not-for-profit. so they pay no tax there. the brewers do pay a tax but its only 15% of sales. so we are taxed heavily but the foreign multinationals are not. we don't run nothing with that little tax money.

Yes. They should all be legal. It's about education. Drug users aren't criminals, and shouldn't be treated as such. It is a medical issue, and education is the best thing.

It's actually quite common especially in certain parts of British Columbia. They focus on crimes, heavier drugs, murders instead of a simple pot charge.

I think it's long overdue instead of wasting money charging people with smoking a joint.
