I was buying ammunition when I found that I was receiving double the ammo I paid for. This was happening for multiple types of ammo. I am using internet explorer on an old PC.

Can you record it / screenshot it please?
According to logs you send 2 requests almost at the same time (money was deducted correctly and you received correct amount of ammo, that's not a bug). I suggest to update your browser and check, what can cause double clicks.
