A private island is better when you are level 15 and make sure you rent one with an airstrip then as you'll be able to fly for free , and carry 10 extra items, this is a good way to make money of items such as plushies and flowers,
As for your happiness level just make sure you have enough large boxes of chocolate which gives 35 happiness each time you eat it. If you have a candy item cool down of 0 you can keep eating this until you have a cool of 24 hours , each time you eat it, you get a cool-down of 30 minutes up until 24 hours is reached and it can give you up to 2000 extra happy to what you already have, you can then train more effectively.
