Faction rank war become ordinary war?

Our war with 'Blue Moon Rising' was seen as a Ranked war. Today though, it appears to have devolved into just an ordinary war, although, as can be seen in our Faction/Rank tab, it's still shown in pink as a ranked war.

Unaware of any game-play changes to account for this. Browsers have been cache-cleared & different members report seeing this.

  • Neither mention contesting rank.
However; Several members do recall seeing it as a ranked war. A joint decision was made to make this war a Primary target to drop bonus hits on.

Is it possible that this was in fact an ordinary war that was displayed as a rank war on the warbase?

Alternatively it's a mass delusion

and the best we can hope for: Is this get closed, preferably, graved - Outside Torn City limits - a burial at midnight at an un- signposted crossroad.

I'm going to pass this along to Ched to see if he can check the ranks of each faction at the time you guys declared war. Seems rather strange that it did not become a ranked war if you were almost certain you were behind them on rank!

If the faction news has no reference to being a 'ranked war', it never was. It would be showing "You are contesting for their rank of #X".
