My partner is interested in playing as well, if we both use the same PC at home would this count as a multi-account?

Nope, you should be able to play on the same device as each other - just make sure you both do not have access to each others accounts.

If you asked that last year, it would be an issue. But there is a new system in place.

As long as you don't do anything suspicious, like pass almost all your networth to each other, the system won't red flag you. You can play on the same PC or even the same network and have no issues as long as you don't do anything that would look like multiple account activity,

Yes you both can play, my partner and I share a PC and iPad. However that said we were both Fedded back in March for being multis. I had no real response to my reports, and staff wouldn't even entertain speaking to my partner. It took a huge forum thread made by a buddy I have on Facebook and a real life buddy to garner support and have the decision reversed. Our 'charge' was then changed to account sharing

It happened when I was really ill, and I forgot to log out on the PC, I had a bad turn and my partner had to carry me to bed. Him being old and not tech savvy, he didn't check to see who was logged in and he commented on a forum post in my name. He has since been shown how to tell who is logged in, and we have now got safeguards in place to make sure it doesn't happen again.

My advice to you is to be careful, very careful if two of you wish to share devices.
