Don't think this as foolish, but how you you place a bet at Craps in the Casino. i can't seem to be able to place a bet and I can't seem to figure out why.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

You can't start a game of craps before the shooter (the one with the dices) has put a bet on pass/don't pass. That's a prerequisite for starting a round. After that bet, the "come out" e.g. the first dices are rolled.
If the come out is 7 or eleven, all bets on "pass" is won while "don't" is lost. If the come out is craps (2,3, 12) "pass" loses and "don't" wins.
Any other number establishes a "point". After this, the shooter has to try to roll his point, before he rolls a 7, in which case all "pass" bets will win. When a 7 is rolled after a point has been established, you "7 out" and pass the dice to the next player - or in this case, you will do a new "come out" yourself and again has to bet on "pass"/"don't".
This is the most basic bets of Craps, you should try these out first before you move to the other, more advanced bets :)
