The Chain timer on the faction page is one second faster than the chain timer on the side bar for me (using Chrome).

Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but thought I'd mention it.

I'm not sure if it's possible to 100% synchronise, but if it's consistently 1 second faster that might be okay!

Bump... the chain timer on left/top vs chain screen out of sync by 30 seconds .... causing havoc. I am on mobile but faction members have said the same.

I have observed the same. both chain timers vary by some significant amount of time and confuse people which timer to look at.

Looks like the timer on the right is showing the chain in cool down with the long timer and blue at the top?
I've had this issue if I've left the faction page open too long/inactive or if the page has gone "stale" on mobile. I can normally get it to sort itself with a refresh, but have had to close and open a new tab on occasion.

lol good luck getting an answer on this one. ive had a thread closed by a mod n no reply in a day since my post. they must not be able to isolate it

I have verified the side bar timer is accurate by using a second device. Easy fix - remove the timer from the faction chain display. Not ideal but better than doing nothing......for more than a year.

They have confirmed this bug report that's why they closed the other one. As it is confirmed, it will be looked into by a developer according to its priority in their task list.
