KermodeBear [2011760]

How does one access older events via the events API?

For example: https://api.torn.com/user/?selections=events&key=foo&page=2

I know that there is a timestamp parameter but it isn't quite what I'm looking for.

Thanks!

That just produces the most recent X events. I was hoping to get the previous X events instead of trying to fiddle with timestamps and guess (and potentially miss events if I go back too far). Not that big a deal though.

Thanks!

time delta to time event. Work out (in seconds preferably). You cannot avoid timestamps with this. Timestamps exist for a reason.

It would be really helpful if there was a way to sort by event title. To get for example all stock benefits received in certain timespan.

an extension to the API is needed, one that can be done i a way that will not break current API or code.

@KermodeBear's "events page 2" and @lothar's"stock benifits timeframe, both qualify as a subset of the post:

API server load & bandwidth reduction query option

if u like or want either of the mentioned uses, then "thumbs up" and vote in that post (link above)

Cheers

Paul

PS @KermodeBear "trying to fiddle with timestamps" is what API programming is all about, and it is accurate
